Appreciate more feedback

It has now almost been half-a-year since we have engaged the new security DNS for our taman. We have received quite a lot of feedbacks, both positive and negative. How have they performed compared to the previous security company?

Let's be fair, if we were to compare to Duta (the previous company), they did not do all that bad. If we were to talk about they letting both registered and unregistered vehicles into our taman, Duta is also guilty of the same thing. In fact DNS may have the upper hand in a sense that they had better managed the flow of traffic at the gate (my personal opinion anyway). Also DNS provided their service at a much cheaper rate compared to Duta, relieving some of the financial burden to the residents. (If you need to know the details of the cost, please contact any one of the AJK.)

We will be having a dialogue with DNS Security soon. Venue, time and date to be determined. If you have any doubts or questions, we would really welcome your participation. Or if you choose to remain anonymous, you may write your questions here so that we can post your questions to them.

So what do think after 6 months of their service? Do let us know.

  1. So far, it's not too bad, but can improve still. These guys look more happy and less disgruntled doing their jobs (although to be fair, only some, not all of Duta's employees seem jaded with their jobs). One good thing I personally notice is that I went out until 2-3 AM and found that the guard is still awake and vigilant. The old one I sometimes catch them napping on the job.

On the other hand, these guys are a bit more lax when it comes to cars without stickers I think. Some of my frens went pass them, but I suspect this is due to some residents as well ie. those not paying but will threaten the guards when they are stopped. So, in a way it's difficult to blame them.

Another important concern to discuss is the recent development in legislation. The govt has decided that gating a community would required agreement from 100% of the residents. We know this is almost impossible given now, some residents are already not paying. Plus, without agreement, the boom gate is technically illegal although we know the authorities will turn a blind eye since our law enforcement in our country is getting worse.

  2. Guys, this is another piece of info sharing.

Last week, a teenage boy (lower secondary from looks of it) from Jalan BPP 4/8 hit my sister's car in front my house while riding on his motorbike without license. My sister was waiting for the autogate to open and this teenager (which probably have not learned how to ride properly) swerved into her car and broke the tail lights and dented the car. More dangerously, he was carrying a small child which could have been seriously injured, but thankfully did not.

As riding without license is a serious traffic offense, the boy's father later agreed to pay for damages once it was fixed on condition that no official report is made. My sister being a "too nice" person agreed and after the car was fixed, the father broke his promise and say he doesn't have enough money. And he had the cheek to say that given that the bill is only 500 plus which is nothing compared to his son avoid being in a lot of trouble. Some more, he himself is driving a big car, so it's a disgrace to himself to say that he doesn't have money and refuse to take responsibility.

Needless to say, my sis was disappointed in this man's lowly character and untrustworthy words. Until today, the matter has not been resolved.

Point is, there are people like this in this world and let this be a lesson to you all to:
    1. Please keep your children in check and do not allow them to ride motorcycles without proper lessons and license. It's not only a danger to others, but they could very well mati katak and then it would be too late.
    2. Make a police report for all traffic accidents within 24 hours as stipulated by the law. This is important for insurance claims.
    3. Be responsible for your actions and do not resort to lies and deceit. Your face, honor and integrity is not worth any money in the world.

  3. To be more specific, which house owner on the road Jalan BPP 4/8? It's a shame for him and we all should know, beware of this person. Or maybe just give us a hint if you don't want to be too details.

  4. A hint? Let's just say that I give him 24 hours before I ask him again for compensation. That one full day of 24 hours >:)

  5. Ada more important thing to bicara. About individual title. What happen? thus anybody know tolong post a comment. Regarding educating our rakyat how to behave waktu bawa kenderaan. Kita semua kena hati2. We live in Taman so kita semua yang bawak kereta ke lori ke kena tengok sama2 budak2 kecik main basikal. I should create a very harmony jiran. Anak saya tahun 2 suka bawak basikal and being kanak2 no worry have fun. So orang yang tua2 ni bawak kereta pelahan2 la. Yang bela anjing tu kalau nak buka gate ikat anjing dulu nanti kejar kanak2 than dia jatuh. When come to child, i very sensitive. Sbb anak i pernah kena kejar anjing yang dilepas oleh jiran. Saya tak marah anjing tu tapi marah owner anjing tu. Moral of the story. Saya nak masuk jalan rumah saya pun susah. Please think of others.

  9. My advice put some chili powder around your house. I put chili powder in front of my house to ensure no cat/dog shit.......

  10. KLlee22 is right, I can see them everywhere, sometimes with their "children". And they tried to walk into my house too.

Chilli powder is not a concrete solution.

  12. Dear all,

I get to know from my wife that this afternoon (8 June 2010 around 6.00p.m) got those syndicates (come with 3 Young Malay Guys) came house to house for the Gas Stove serial numbers inspection. They claim they are Selangor MPSJ representative that each house is compulsory for this checking.

I would like to check, is this three fellows register at our guard house, is their IC, Car number plate been recorded?

    Regards,

  16. One day when i return home from work about 5pm plus found a little boy about 3 years old running on street alone and my car just behind him. I was shocked to see him alone, i think parents should be more careful in watching over their kids. Sometimes no matter how slow we drive, but kids suddenly ran out and hit the car then parents blame the driver hitting their children... poor driver...

  17. As i told earlier kids and animals have no brain. Thus you all that so call mature, please slow your cars once see a house with open gate, blind corner (which some stupid people park thier cars till you can't see what is coming, as some houses have 6 to 7 cars in a single house)_ go and get a bigger house if you want to stay as a clan. For those parents which always let their kids out, please keep on remind your kids regarding road safety, stranger and big dog(big rodwiller in a terrace house 22X70!!!!!, go stay in a Planter Heaven Seremban). Please suit the situation rather than the situation try to compromise with your rediculous way of thinking. TQ

just slow down whenever driving into our housing estate....if there's any accident, the impact can be minimised too (hopefully no at all la)...

some residents own sportscars and they will speed to work in the morning... BPP4/3 for example! at that speed, even a slight contact with any thing can cause a lot of damage. not to say children, even adults also scare of it!!!

  19. Tak payah kata sport car, van pun speed giler. semua ingat dia seorang aje ada masalah, tension la konon....kalau jadi ape2 jangan salahkan sesiapa kalau kena sapu ye.....

fully agreed with you there! when shit happens, then see who's in trouble.

the reason why i mentioned sportscar is because these people (car owners) can earn a lot of $, buy nice car, renovate house and highly educated, but behave like idiots! when you talk to them, they acted like big boss (sometimes gangster too!) and arrogant. if van driver, maybe we can blame it on his education level or others.
