Sekuriti baru

Today marks the last day of service for ASAS Security. There will be a new security company, Metro Security starting tomorrow, 12 April 2014, 7 am

Random survey

A few dozen families here in our Taman has been randomly selected by the Institut Kesihatan Umum (IKU) to conduct a survey on the National Health and Morbidity. They will ask questions regarding your eating habits, as well as your stats (height, weight and waist line measurement). The information is considered PnC and is only used for research purposes.

They will only come visit you at night. They will come within these week itself, including weekends.

AGM ke lima

The 5th AGM was a great success! Thank you all who came. We have received a lot of requests, suggestions and complaints from you, and we are hearing. Some of the items that we noted :
1. To build a power socket on the playground area for activities for the residents.
2. To fix the lights near the playground area.
3. Clean the areas around our taman in light of the increased cases of dengue, also due to the foreign workers who come here.
4. If possible build a "balai raya" area for all residents to organize their activities.
5. Fix the fallen gates along Jalan BPP 4/9 (eastern border of the taman). In fact this is phase 2 of our gate fixing project.
6. A smart tag system for our autogate instead of the current "touch and go" system. This is going to be expensive, but if continue to manage our funds well, we will be able to go ahead with this project.

Please do tell us what we can do to continue to increase the quality of live in our taman.

Kutipan Penggal Baru

Our collection for the next term has started! Here are the reminders for the payment steps and methods :
1. Payment methods are via online transfer, Cash Deposit Machine or cash only. Payment via cheques are NOT encouraged.
2. Please make sure payment is to "Persatuan Penduduk Jalan BPP 4 (0700-09-SEL)".
3. Payment bank is Maybank, account number is 5628-0752-6342.
4. Please send confirmation email or scan any bank-in slip to putrapermai4@gmail.com.
5. Please state your name, House No and Jalan in your email.
6. Please submit hardcopy of your receipt (if any) to your wakil jalan once you have transferred the money to collect your latest car stickers.
7. You will get up to 3 car stickers free. Extra car stickers are sold at RM3 per piece.
8. You MUST NOT combine payment of the security fee with the car stickers. Payment for the car stickers must be made by cash to the wakil jalan.
9. Please arrange to make payments before 15th November 2013 to avoid your access card from being blocked.

With the autogate operational, please note that the boom gate only allows ONE vehicle to pass through the entry and exit. Please wait for your turn before passing through the gate.

Autogate Operational

The autogate will be operational from Sunday 6th October 2013, 8:30 am. All residents who have paid for the previous penggal's security fees, please collect your access card from your nearest wakil jalan.

Autogate go ahead!

Thank you all for your support! We have gathered a total of 192 signatures in supporting us to build the autogate. Therefore we have proceeded to construct the autogate. If you notice today the wiring has been laid down. After the completion of this autogate, ALL residence are required to use the access card for entry and exit from the taman. Please note that the traffic flow will change upon the implementation of the autogate (please refer to diagram). Please note the following;
• The construction is expected to take 2 weeks.
• Card will be entitled to those who paid Security Fee for every term.
• Each household will get a maximum of 3 cards, depending on the number of cars in that household. Example if you only have 2 cars in your household, you shall only get 2 cards free.
• Additional cards can be purchased at RM20 a piece.
• Please obtain your cards and sign on the agreement form from your nearest wakil jalan AFTER completion of the autogate.

Proposal to build autogate

We are targeting to build a proper card-based auto gate system. But before we can do that, we must get the proper documentations. I need all your cooperation to sign on a paper in the guard house. If the guards did not stop you to ask for your signatures, stop and ask for it yourself.

The reason we need a proper written consent from you all is to protect ourselves in case there are any residents (who are still reluctant to pay) from suing us for building this gate. This will be a waste of our money if we build it and it does not gets used.

We will need 85% of the residents to agree before we can proceed. So guys, please pass the word around. Sign at the guard, and hopefully we can see a fully working autogate before this month ends.

Guard Post Blackout

Notice the blackout at the guard post? The electricity was cut, but not because we did not pay. The electricity box actually still belongs to Tujuan Ehsan. It's been 8 years and Tujuan Ehsan suddenly decided that they should relieve whatever responsibility that they have to each taman, including ours. They should have informed us before they terminate the electricity, but they did not know whom to contact. So it's not entirely their fault for doing so. So since Monday 15th July 2013, the electricity at the guard post has been cut off. We will have to reapply using the Persatuan's name.

Bangkai Motosikal

If you notice, there was a bangkai of a relatively new bike inside our taman. And we managed to capture the suspects pushing the bike inside. You may wonder why did the guard let them in? Well, simply because one of the suspects stays inside our taman! Can you recognise him?

Meeting with FWG

Yesterday had meeting with the security boss Mr Bong. Hope there will be changes

AJK Meeting 27 June

AJK meeting was held on 27th June. Some of the hot topics discussed: the performance of the new guard. We will give them an additional month to train them, after which we will issue a warning letter if we do not see improvements. We may even introduce fine system, for example if we see they always open the gate, we may fine them. Any other suggestions to help improve their service?

Government Grant

Just an update, we have applied for the RM10,000 government grant. Hope there are more such grants in the future .....

End of FWG

Today marks the end of FWG as our security service. We have now employed ASAS Security, which is also servicing The Rise, so they should be quite familiar with our area.

New pagar in our taman

Did you guys notice the new pagar being built near the Jalan BPP 4/1? Those who stays near there would know that the pagar has been missing since mid of last year, vandalized by outsiders who want to break in. There has been a lot of cases where these intruders climbed up the steep hill into our compound. We have noticed this but have only been able to fix the pagar today :

The Auntie who planted the small garden was notified before we started work. She understood the reason for us to build the fence, but we did promise that we will minimize the damage done to her garden. Thank you Auntie!

Garisan kuning dan bonggol jalan

Anda nampak garisan kuning di depan pintu masuk taman kita? Pihak MPSJ akhirnya mendengar permintaan kami untuk membina bonggol jalan dan garisan kuning di hadapan taman kita:

Garisan kuning dan bonggol jalan memang patut dibina di hadapan taman, kerana kenderaan yang datang dari arah kanan (kawasan yang lebih tinggi) amat laju dan banyak, terutamanya pada waktu pagi.

Anda mungkin tertanya-tanya, mana bonggol jalan tu? Kontraktor yang ditugaskan untuk membina bonggol jalan ini mengatakan bahawa bonggol ini akan dibina selewat-lewatnya pada minggu depan.
